I have been working with Linda for 2 1/2 years supporting EIT's Maori & Pacific Trade Training Scholarship students through driver training. She is a joy to work with and will go that extra mile to help her students achieve success. Linda has a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her sense of humour, and her calm and honest teaching style put a learner at ease. I would happily recommend Linda as a driver trainer for individuals or organisations who are looking to achieve positive results.

Linda from Top Drive has been an exceptional driving instructor and has gained many successful outcomes for our students, who have gone on to gain their Licences through Linda’s expertise and knowledge. She has a calm, no nonsense approach and always ensures that the students have the required skillset prior to any testing procedures that they may undertake.

It is with pleasure that I write a reference for Linda. I have known Linda for the past four years and in this time I have been closely involved with her as she has presented and delivered the New Zealand Defensive Driving Course to our Year 12 and 13 pupils at Lindisfarne College. In addition to the course content Linda has also taught our student's the Unit Standard 3464, "Describe human risk factors in terms of a self management strategy for a driver". I have been impressed with Linda's teaching style and approach when teaching our students providing precise and accurate information while also applying past knowledge to substantiate her teaching. Another aspect in her style and delivery is that she includes humour to maximise the learning potential for our students. The boys are always attentive and willing participants in the course and are eager to learn and I am confident they have completed the course to their potential due to her instruction. In addition to this I have also been impressed with her calm manner which enables learning to take place and the boy's are often left in her care solely and the course continues without interruption.
Linda is well liked by the boys and they are respectful of her teaching and warm personality. Linda is well organised and this is evident also in the respect the boy's have for her as often organisation will be the key to your success when dealing with boy's aged 16 to 18 years. I would have no hesitation in recommending she would be an asset to any organisation.

Linda Satherley has been working for me, on our Diploma in Tourism and Travel, for four years, and I have found her to be organised, reliable, helpful and flexible. She is very professional in her teaching and the students find her approachable and knowledgeable in her subject matter. We are very grateful to have her as part of our Tourism and Travel team. Yours sincerely

Approximately 3 years ago, Linda Satherley was employed by Sacred Heart College, using the STAR resource, to conduct classes and assess Drivers+ License Unit Standards. She performed these duties in a very competent manner.

Mrs Linda Satherley delivered the modules for the New Zealand Defensive Driving Course at Saint John's College. In that time Mrs Satherley took 3 classes of approximately twenty students for eight lessons each. The school allowed only a certain time frame for the completion of the course and any students not complete at that time in the school's view would not be awarded a certificate. There were a number of students who had not completed the course after the designated time and Mrs Satherley offered a 1 hour lunchtime session to allow those boys the opportunity to gain their certificate. This opportunity was gladly accepted by a number of the students who had not completed the course.
Mrs Satherley maintained an appropriate level of compliance in each module from the students and remained firm in her expectation of work completed from each student. Mrs Satherley was always courteous and pleasant in her dealings at the school with both students and staff. Her demeanour and control of large groups of potentially chatty students was impressive. Mrs Satherley always maintained an excellent delivery of the course and I would recommend her to teach this course at any other school.
Yours Faithfully,

I have appreciated the services of Ms Linda Satherley for two years now as tutor in the Driver's Licence theory component of the Transition Programme, a compulsory F6/Yr 12 subject. Transition is a 'bridging' or life-skills course helping Senior Students prepare for tertiary education and adulthood. Ms Satherley is always competent in her teaching skills and knowledge, helpful to our students and prepares them thoroughly for the theory test. She is well groomed and courteous and relates well to our students. I have pleasure in endorsing the quality of her work.
